Universal covers of half-twist Loch-Ness monster surfaces

Research

In [BHS], Hakobyan created the half-twist tight flute surfaces X_a,b with length parameters defined by:

l_2n= alog(n+1)+blog(n)  and  l_2n+1=(a+b)log(n+1).

We use the same length parameters for the half-twist Loch-Ness monster X_a,b along with the lengths of the fronts of ß_n defined by:

l(ß_n)=4log(n/(n-1)).
